WA registered nurses are paid on a Level 1 scale (Levels 1.1–1.8), then Level 2 and the senior registered nurse levels. WA also has some of the strongest remote-nursing allowances in the country.
Stepping into the senior clinical grades (from $2,476/wk — above the top of the base RN scale) is the largest pay jump beyond your annual increments, and Western Australia pays a qualification allowance that rewards postgraduate study. Far more accessible than people assume — and most who are eligible never apply.
